What happens if the injection molding temperature is too high?

I believe that friends who have learned about the injection molding equipment and plastic industry know that in the process of injection molding, high temperature is inevitable, but high temperature will have many adverse effects. So what are the specific manifestations of these adverse effects? Next, let's take a look at Bian Xiao.

The adverse effects are mainly manifested in the following aspects:

1. Excessive temperature will reduce the viscosity of the oil: Excessive injection molding temperature will reduce the viscosity of the oil and increase leakage. At this time, the volumetric power of the pump and the power of the entire system will drop significantly. If the viscosity of the oil decreases, the oil film of moving parts such as the slide valve will become thinner or trimmed, and the friction resistance and wear will increase.

2. Accelerate the oxidation transformation of the oil. Excessive heating of injection molding will accelerate the oxidation transformation of the oil, analyze asphalt-like substances, and reduce the service life of the hydraulic oil. Analytical substances will block the damping hole and the gap valve, causing the pressure valve to be stuck, the metal pipe to stretch and entangle, and even break.

3. Poor operating quality of injection molded parts: Excessive heat during the processing of injection molded parts will lead to poor operating quality of injection molded parts, escape of oil-soluble air, cavitation, and reduced operating performance of the hydraulic system.

4. Mechanical thermal deformation: Components with different thermal expansion coefficients in hydraulic components should be combined with actual conditions, which will lead to operating failures, seriously affect the transmission accuracy of the hydraulic system, and lead to poor operating quality of injection molded parts.

5. Excessive injection temperature will cause deformation of rubber seals, accelerate aging failure, reduce the service life of sealing performance, and cause leakage.
