Regarding Plastic Material For Washing Machine Transparent Parts
Material ABS

Raw material ABS is good used for washing machine transparent parts, such as control panel, cover, etc. It is composed of acrylamide. Each monomer has different characteristics: Acrylamide has high strength, thermal stability and chemical stability; ebullience has toughness, impact resistance; styrene with easy processing, high finish and high strength. From the morphological point of view, ABS is non-crystalline material. The properties of ABS mainly depend on the ratio of the 3 monomers and the molecular structure in the two phases. Which can be in product design with great flexibility, and thus produced hundreds of different quality of the market ABS material. These different quality materials provide different characteristics, such as from medium to high impact resistances, from low to high finish and high temperature twist characteristics.


ABS has excellent workability, appearance characteristics, low creep and excellent dimensional stability and high impact strength.

Injection molding process conditions

 

Drying ABS material for 80 ~ 90℃ at least 2 hours dry. Material temperature should be less than 0.1%.
Melting temperature 210 ~ 280℃; Recommended temperature，245℃.
Mold temperature 25 ... 70℃. (Mold temperature will affect the plastic parts finish, lower temperature leads to lower finish).
Injection pressure 500 ~ 1000 bar.
Injection speed Medium speed.
