COP Plastic Injection Temperature and Processing
COP plastic injection temperature and processing are critical steps in producing precise, transparent plastic products. COP materials are heat-sensitive and fluid, so precise control of the injection molding machine's barrel, nozzle, and mold temperatures is crucial to ensure uniform melting and smooth filling of the mold cavity.

The injection temperature must be set within the COP material's melting temperature range. It should not be too high, causing material degradation and impacting the mechanical and optical properties of the product, nor too low, resulting in insufficient material fluidity and causing incomplete filling or surface defects. Furthermore, the temperature distribution across the barrel must be properly adjusted to ensure uniform heating of the material under the shearing action of the screw and minimize the impact of temperature fluctuations on product quality.
Regarding the injection molding process, appropriate parameters such as the injection molding machine model, mold structure, injection speed, injection pressure, dwell time, and cooling time must be selected based on the COP material's characteristics and the product's design requirements. The injection speed should be moderate to ensure rapid mold filling while avoiding defects such as jets and air marks.
Injection pressure must be high enough to ensure the material overcomes mold resistance and smoothly fills the cavity. The holding time should be adjusted based on the part's wall thickness and shrinkage to prevent shrinkage or deformation. The cooling time should be appropriately set based on the mold temperature and part thickness to ensure the part achieves sufficient strength and rigidity before demolding.

During the injection molding process, attention must also be paid to mold cleaning and lubrication, as well as maintenance and upkeep of the injection molding machine, to ensure a stable production process and consistent product quality. Precise control of the COP injection temperature and process technology is crucial for improving product quality.
