Molds (mújù) are various molds and tools used in industrial production to obtain the required products by injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, die casting or forging, smelting, stamping and other methods. In short, molds are tools used to make molded objects. This tool is composed of various parts, and different molds are composed of different parts. 1: The mold must be sharpened after long-term use. The edge surface must be demagnetized after grinding and cannot be magnetic, otherwise it is easy to cause blockage. The mold-using company must make detailed records and statistics on its use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust prevention) and damage.
Based on this, it can be found which parts and components are damaged and the degree of wear, so as to provide information and data for discovering and solving problems, as well as the molding process parameters of the mold and the materials used for the product, so as to shorten the trial run time of the mold and improve production efficiency. When the injection molding machine and mold are in normal operation, the various properties of the mold should be tested, and the size of the molded plastic parts should be measured. This information can be used to determine the current state of the mold, find out where the cavity, core, cooling system and parting surface are damaged, and the damage state of the mold and maintenance measures can be determined based on the information provided by the plastic parts.
2: Elastic parts such as springs are easily damaged during use, usually breaking and deforming. The solution is to replace them. During the replacement process, you must pay attention to the specifications and models of the springs. The specifications and models of the springs are confirmed by color, outer diameter and length. Only when the three items are the same can they be replaced. Imported springs are preferred.
3: The punch is prone to breakage, bending and gnaw during the use of the mold, and the punch sleeve is generally gnawed. The damaged punch and punch sleeve are generally replaced with parts of the same specifications. The parameters of the punch mainly include the working part size, installation part size, length size, etc.
4: Tighten the parts and check whether the fastening parts are loose or damaged. The method adopted is to find parts of the same specifications for replacement.
5: Pressing parts such as pressing plates, high-strength rubber, etc., unloading parts such as stripping plates, pneumatic ejectors, etc. During maintenance, check the accessories of each part and whether there is any damage, repair the damaged parts, check whether there is any leakage in the pneumatic ejector, and take measures for specific situations. If the air pipe is damaged, replace it.
Several important parts of the mold should be tracked and tested: the role of the ejector and guide components is to ensure the opening and closing movement of the mold and the ejection of the plastic parts. If any part of them is stuck due to damage, it will lead to production suspension. Therefore, the mold ejector and guide pillar should be lubricated regularly (appropriate lubricants should be selected), and the ejector and guide pillar should be regularly checked for deformation and surface damage. Once found, they should be replaced in time;
After completing a production cycle, the mold working surface, movement, and guide components should be coated with professional anti-rust oil. In particular, attention should be paid to the protection of the bearing parts of the mold with gears and racks and the elastic strength of the spring mold to ensure that they are always in good working condition;
As production time continues, the cooling channel is prone to deposit scale, rust, silt and algae, which makes the cooling channel cross-section smaller, the cooling channel narrower, reduces the heat exchange rate between the coolant and the mold, and increases the production cost of the enterprise. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cleaning of the channel;
For hot runner molds, the maintenance of the heating and control system is conducive to preventing production failures, so it is particularly important.
