What is injection molding?
Injection molding is a manufacturing process that involves injecting thermoplastic or thermosetting plastics under high pressure into a mold cavity, where they cool and solidify to form a product of a specific shape.
Through precise temperature control and pressure regulation, the flowing plastic melt is molded into the complex geometric shape required by the design in a short period of time.
Granular raw materials are fed into a hopper, and through the rotational shearing of the screw and the gradual heating of the heating barrel, the material undergoes a transformation from a glassy state to a viscous flow state. Then, under the thrust of the injection mechanism, the melt fills every corner of the mold, and then, through a precisely controlled cooling system, the product completes crystallization and solidification in a short time.
Injection molding not only offers the highly efficient characteristic of "one-step molding," making mass production of complex structures possible, but it is also widely used in various industrial fields such as automotive parts, electrical appliance parts, medical equipment parts, lighting parts, and mechanical parts.
