Plastic faucet molding process
1) Mold manufacturing
The mold manufacturing of plastic faucets must first carry out product design and determine the parameters of the injection molding machine, make a prototype according to the product design, and then design and manufacture the mold. Mold manufacturing needs to consider several factors: first, the structural characteristics of the plastic faucet, second, the model and parameters of the injection molding machine, and also consider factors such as cost and production efficiency. The mold structure design should be reasonable and meet the technical requirements of injection molding.
2) Injection molding
Injection molding is a key link in the production of plastic faucets, and parameters need to be adjusted according to the design of the mold and the needs of the product. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Feeding: Mix the plastic particles and color powder and put them into the hopper of the injection molding machine.
2. Mold opening: Place the mold in the injection molding machine, start the injection molding machine to close the mold.
3. Injection molding: Slowly inject the heated plastic material into the mold and pressurize it, and then the injection molding machine enters the cooling stage.
4. Demolding: After the cooling time is reached, the injection molding machine opens the mold and removes the molded plastic faucet from the mold.
In the injection molding process, attention should be paid to controlling the parameters of the injection molding machine to ensure the filling and compaction of the plastic material and the molding quality.
3) Cooling treatment
After injection molding, cooling treatment is required to ensure the dimensional stability and appearance quality of the plastic faucet. Cooling treatment is an important link, and the specific steps are as follows:
1. Cooling: Put the molded plastic faucet into cooling water and wait for a certain time to lower the temperature.
2. Placement: After waiting for a period of time, take out the plastic faucet and place it in a ventilated environment. After it is completely cooled naturally, it can be packaged and shipped.
4) Product quality control
During the entire production process, quality control from mold manufacturing to finished products is required to ensure that the quality of the finished products meets the standards. The specific methods are to make sample comparisons and conduct laboratory tests. For unqualified products, timely corrections and treatments are required to ensure production efficiency and product quality.
