1. Design characteristics of automobile cover stamping dies
At present, for automobile cover stamping dies, its design characteristics are one of the important determinants of the performance of the die, and it is necessary to pay attention to the comprehensive grasp of the design characteristics. At present, the design characteristics of automobile cover stamping dies are divided into four aspects.


First, for the structural dimensions of automobile cover stamping dies, the structural dimensions are required to be larger. The working parts of general automobile stamping dies are often made of tool steel, while the parts of some automobile cover stamping dies only need to use cast iron with slightly higher strength. Fourth, in terms of the degree of standardization of automobile cover stamping dies, its degree of standardization is slightly lower than that of other automobile stamping dies. 2. Manufacturing characteristics of automobile cover stamping dies
In recent years, my country's automobile processing and manufacturing industry has paid more and more attention to the manufacturing of automobile cover stamping dies. At present, the manufacturing characteristics of my country's automobile cover stamping dies are mainly divided into four aspects.


First, for the production preparation of automobile cover stamping dies, the die work and the basic parts blank are the key points of production preparation. Since the die work and the basic parts are produced by single-room castings, the selection and preparation of the blank becomes the key to the manufacturing of automobile cover stamping die models.


Second, due to the large contour volume of automobile cover stamping dies, large-scale processing and manufacturing equipment, such as multi-axis CNC milling machines, gantry milling machines, etc., are required. At the same time, in order to smoothly and efficiently debug the automobile cover stamping dies, large-scale trial mold presses are also required.


Third, in the manufacturing process of automobile cover stamping dies, the surface processing of the die working parts is the key point of the manufacturing process. For the die working parts, they often present a three-dimensional curved surface combination surface shape, so the processing and manufacturing are more cumbersome and difficult, and the manufacturing accuracy is difficult to control. Therefore, improving the processing accuracy of the die working part surface becomes the focus of improving the die accuracy.


Fourth, for the manufacturing process of automobile cover stamping dies, the assembly and debugging of automobile cover stamping dies become important aspects of the manufacturing process. Since the assembly and debugging of automobile cover stamping dies consumes a large proportion of the time in the entire automobile cover stamping die manufacturing process, it is increasingly important to continuously shorten the cycle of automobile cover stamping dies assembly and debugging.
