                    Injection Molding Principles: Knowledge Sharing

Injection molding is one of the widely used and important plastic molding processes in modern manufacturing. It is precise and capable of mass-producing complex plastic products. The principles of injection molding are shared below:

                                                                     11

1. Plasticization: Plastic granules (raw materials) are added to the hopper of the injection molding machine and melted in the heated barrel, becoming a viscous melt.

2. Injection: The screw or plunger of the injection molding machine moves forward, "injecting" the molten plastic into the closed mold cavity at high pressure and speed.

3. Holding Pressure and Cooling: The melt is held under pressure in the mold for a period of time to compensate for shrinkage, then cooled and solidified, maintaining the shape of the mold cavity.

4. Mold Opening and Ejection: The mold opens, and the ejection mechanism pushes out the molded plastic product, completing one cycle.
