1. Conduct an in-depth analysis of the structure and technical requirements of plastic parts. The structure of plastic parts determines the complexity of the injection mold structure, and the technical requirements (dimensional accuracy, surface roughness, etc.) of plastic parts determine the difficulty of injection mold manufacturing and molding process. Therefore, for special requirements that do not meet plastic injection molding, unreasonable structural shapes, etc., improvement design schemes for injection molded parts should be proposed, otherwise it will increase the difficulty of injection mold design and manufacturing and injection molding process.
2. Familiar with the technical specifications of injection molding machines. The technical specifications of injection molding machines constrain the size of injection molds and the range of injection molded products that can be formed.
3. Understand the processing and processing properties of plastics. Including the flow path of plastic melt, the ratio of the maximum flow distance that the melt can reach, analyzing the flow resistance at various locations in the flow channel and cavity, the discharge of existing air in the mold cavity, the possible crystallization, orientation, and internal stress caused by plastic in the injection mold, the cooling shrinkage and compensation issues of plastic, and the temperature requirements of plastic for the injection mold.
