In order to reduce internal stress and surface quality defects, the following issues should be noted in the injection molding process.
Injection temperature: Under the premise that the plastic resin does not decompose, a higher injection temperature should be used;
Injection pressure: Generally higher to overcome the defect of high viscosity of the melt, but too high pressure will produce internal stress, causing demolding difficulties and deformation;
Injection speed: Under the condition of meeting mold filling, it is generally better to be low, and it is best to use slow-fast-slow multi-stage injection;
Pressure holding time and molding cycle: Under the condition of meeting product mold filling and not producing dents and bubbles; it should be as short as possible to minimize the residence time of the melt in the barrel;
Screw speed and back pressure: Under the premise of meeting plasticization quality, it should be as low as possible to prevent the possibility of decompression;
Mold temperature: The cooling of the product has a great impact on the quality, so the mold temperature does not have to be able to accurately control its process. If possible, the mold temperature should be higher.
In order to prevent the surface quality from deteriorating, it is generally recommended to use as little release agent as possible during injection molding; when using recycled materials, the amount should not exceed 20%.
